One of the nation’s longest-running craft beer festivals, the Oregon Brewers Festival welcomes 80,000 craft beer lovers to sample than 80 independent craft beers on a sunny July afternoon on the Willamette River.
Shamrock Run Portland
Get in step with the Shamrock Run Portland! After the race, which has grown to 30,000 runners, visit the beer garden in Waterfront Park to enjoy a pint, a bowl hot shamrock Irish potato soup and live Irish music. Half marathon and 5K, 8K AND 15K distances are offered.
Portland Rose Festival
Each year, summer in Portland officially kicks off with the Memorial Day Weekend Portland Rose Festival, a one hundred year old celebration featuring two weeks of fireworks, all-floral and light parades, a city fair, boat races, a half marathon, live music, fleet week, and capped off with the Rose Cup Races.
